GOOD AND BAD HABITS

GOOD ANB BAD HABITS OF MY TEACHERS

As a teacher, it’s important to show our good habits because they impact our teaching practice. I consider that we are a model to follow, so we have positive habits that influence our effectiveness in the classroom, but as humans also we have a negative or bad habits too.

 Good Habits:

Healthy Eating: Have a good balanced and nutritious diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, proteins, and healthy fats is essential for optimal physical health, energy levels, and disease prevention. Some teachers don’t eat on time, and then they have stomach problems such as gastritis. Drink a lot of water is a good advice for you.

Continuous Learning: As teachers, we have to practice our own advices such as reading books, attending courses, or pursuing personal interests, hobbies, etc., enhance critical thinking skills, and promotes personal growth.

Building Strong Relationships: creating healthy and supportive relationships with family, friends, and colleagues contributes to emotional well-being, provides a support system, and promotes a good sense of humor and happiness. The stress is a typical illness for the teachers.

Be organized: Developing effective time management skills, such as prioritizing tasks, creating schedules, helps individuals stay productive, reduce stress, and achieve a better work-life balance. The best characteristic of a good teacher is the order.

Bad Habits:

Smoking: start smoking can have negative effects on health, produce many illnesses, addiction, and an increased risk of developing long-term health conditions. Although smoking is prohibited in school areas, some people do.

Sedentary Lifestyle: Have an inactive lifestyle, such as spending excessive time sitting or be on sit most of the time, can cause some health problems, including weight gain, decreased cardiovascular fitness, and weakened muscles. And those teachers are usually sleeping in their free time or classes too.

Unhealthy Eating: Poor dietary choices, such as excessive consumption of processed foods, sugary snacks, and fast food, can negatively impact physical health and contribute to issues like obesity, lethargy, and nutritional deficiencies. I know many big and heavy teachers.

Using social media: It has a negative impact on our mental Health. The excessive use of social media has been linked to various mental health issues, including increased anxiety, depression, and feelings of loneliness.
